Following a discussion of the elements and syntax of the SKOS vocabulary, the guide covers various integrity conditions that are used as a guideline for best practices in constructing SKOS vocabularies. The guide then examines past literature, highlighting the conversion, validation, improvement, and automatic generation of SKOS vocabularies. The final section discusses future directions that SKOS development might take.
